In this project, the artist begins with an autonomous exploration of color and matter, later introducing elements that blur the reading of the work, shifting between abstraction and figurative references, with echoes of architecture and the use of photography.

The inspiration arises from an exploration of the Etnean volcanic territory, transformed into a symbol of the “urban field”: marks, traces, and scratches on the canvas narrate the experience of movement and the multiple layers of activity in the city, conceived as a space of action rather than a mere visual representation.

The work Campo Urbano was created for the San Fedele Visual Arts Prize in Milan in 2018, the year in which the artist was mentored by Stefano Castelli.
